Filaria
Filaria, aka Northern Ireland's David Baxter has supported Plaid and Venetian Snares live - so we're talking high-calibre stuff here
The most obvious comparison to draw here would be between Baxter and RDJ's Analord series, but thinking anything acidic is along the right lines (see Minikomi's excellent Electronic Acid Productions post here)
These tracks are taken from Filaria's 2005 EP Beat Negg, released on Clive Kell's new Electrotoxic netlabel, which deals primarily with new electronic music coming out of Ireland. Filaria has a release planned for some time later this year, on the promising new Bugklinik imprint based in Belgium. Another Bugklinik release to keep a look out for is Hardcore Esplanade, the new EP from Ceephax Acid Crew, due in September. Limited to 750 copies though, so keep your eyes peeled...
