The Microphones
I love The Microphones. Really lo-fi, simple, gorgeous tracks that still sound awesome on headphones. Lanterns is a track I only heard recently and it renewed my interest in the band, who had been an old favourite. Sounds a little like Venetian Snares on loads of valium remixing Low.

just for the record, the mircrophones don't sound anything like venetian snares or low.
